About the Georgia Lottery retailer programme

The Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC) sells its games through licensed retailers across the state — convenience stores, grocery and package stores, restaurants, service stations and many other businesses. Proceeds from lottery sales fund education in Georgia through the HOPE Scholarship and the Pre-K programme.

Becoming a retailer starts with the Retailer Application packet: business information, personal information for every owner, an electronic funds transfer authorisation, an E-Verify affidavit, and the retailer contract. Applicants are reviewed by Retailer Contracts Administration, and the Georgia Lottery may make any investigation necessary to satisfy its requirements for qualification, including criminal history record information and a credit report.

This portal digitises that packet. The same information is collected, in the same order, but it is entered online, checked as you type, submitted electronically and tracked through review — with no forms to print, notarise in duplicate, or mail.
